What we collect
Three categories, nothing else:
- Account data. Email, display name, language, role (artist or fan).
- Performance data. Releases, posts, live sessions, ledger entries, fan interactions on your page. This is the operating system doing its job.
- Connection data. When you link Spotify, YouTube, TikTok or Instagram, we read the public catalogue and follower counts you authorise. We never post on your behalf without an explicit action you took on MusicVerse.
What we do not collect
- We do not buy data about you or your fans from third-party data brokers.
- We do not place cross-site advertising trackers. There is no ad network on MusicVerse.
- We do not read your direct messages on connected accounts.
Your fan list is yours
Every fan who follows, tips, or joins your membership becomes part of your exportable contact list. You can export it as CSV at any time, take it anywhere, and delete it from MusicVerse without losing access to your account. If you leave the platform, you leave with your audience.
The behavioural brain MV.AI builds on top of those contacts stays on platform. The contact list belongs to you; the prediction engine is the service you rent.
How we use your data
- To run the platform: your page, releases, live and money.
- To compute the deterministic figures on your dashboard (every number is computed in Postgres from your real data and inspectable benchmarks).
- To narrate those figures through Anthropic Claude under our Claude-only LLM policy. Claude receives only the numbers and context needed to write the sentence. Never your fan list, never your messages.
- To send you account, payout, and security notifications you cannot reasonably opt out of, plus the channels you opt into.
Payments and money
Card details are handled by our payments processor and never touch MusicVerse servers. We see the result of each payment, not the card. Every money movement is recorded in an append-only ledger that even MusicVerse cannot rewrite. It can only project forward.
Sharing with third parties
We share data only with infrastructure providers required to run the service: hosting, database, payments, video delivery, transactional email, the LLM provider for narration. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement and operates under instructions from MusicVerse.
Your rights, and where to use them
- Download a copy of your data, from Settings. Your account, preferences, memberships, support history and account activity, as one file.
- Choose what we send you and how you appear in public, from Settings. Account, payment and security messages always come through.
- Leave non essential measurement, from Settings. There are no advertising trackers on MusicVerse and we do not sell data.
- Correct anything inaccurate, from your profile.
- Delete your account, from Settings. Scheduled 30 days ahead and cancellable until then. Payment records we are required to keep for tax are archived.
Anything you cannot do yourself, email privacy@musicverse.app and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
Row-level security on every table. Two step verification available to every account. Append-only ledger. Audit log on privileged actions and on account changes, kept 12 months. Read more on the security page.
Children
MusicVerse is not for users under 16. If we learn an account belongs to a child, we delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, the updated date at the top changes and we notify active accounts in-app before the change takes effect. We do not silently expand what we collect.
