The Guide

Every screen, in plain words

The same help you get inside the app, gathered in one place. 44 answers, each one telling you what a thing is, why it matters to your career, and the single next move. You never need to read this to use MusicVerse.

Watch how it works

Five short recordings of the real screens, captioned step by step. No sound, nothing to set up. Start at the top if you are new.

  1. 1 of 5 · 28 seconds

    Getting started

Your first ten minutes: connect where your music already lives, and read the five things we found out about your career.

    1. 1Connect a channel. Spotify and YouTube sign in themselves. TikTok and Instagram you add by hand.
    2. 2We read your real numbers and write your snapshot: audience, revenue gap, strongest signal, dead weight, first move.
    3. 3From then on you start every day on Today, which shows one move worth making.

    Going live

Announce a session, run the room, and read the night afterwards.

    1. 1Name the night and pick a time. That is the whole announcement.
    2. 2Your members are told, and anyone can say they are coming.
    3. 3Press go live and the room opens with chat, tips, and your guest list.
    4. 4Afterwards you get the read: who came, what they gave, what to do next time.

    Getting paid

What came in, what is still on the way, and how it reaches your bank.

    1. 1Every ringgit is listed with where it came from. Nothing here is estimated.
    2. 2Your balance separates what is settled from what is still clearing.
    3. 3Withdraw whenever you want it. You keep 85 percent, always.

    Your page

The one link you give people, and everything a fan can do with it.

    1. 1Write who you are and choose what fans see first.
    2. 2Add your releases. Fans can play them straight from the page.
    3. 3Add what fans can pay for: monthly memberships and one off digital drops.
    4. 4Open your page as a fan sees it before you share the link.

    Finding your way around

How help works here: a question mark next to anything you do not recognise, with the answer in one sentence.

    1. 1Hover or tap any question mark for a one sentence answer.
    2. 2Tap it again for the full card: what it is, why it matters, the one thing to do next.
    3. 3Where a screen has controls in a sequence, the card can walk you through them in order.
    4. 4If your question is about your own numbers, ask it and the advisor answers from your data.

Your day

The one move

MV.AI reads your own numbers and names one move worth making, why it thinks so, and what it expects to happen.

Advice without a reason is noise. You can always see the figures the advice came from.

Read the reason before the recommendation. If the reason is wrong, ignore the move.

Today

Today is the first screen you open. It shows the money that arrived, the fans behind it, and one suggested move.

It saves you from checking five places. If nothing here needs you, you can close the app and go make music.

Read the one move at the top right, then do it or ignore it. Both are fine.

Your map

A read on your current stage, and what usually comes next for artists in the same place.

It answers the question a dashboard cannot: not how am I doing, but what do I do now.

Open your map and do the first item on it.

Your numbers

The handful of numbers that changed since you last looked: money in, new fans, live sessions.

Every number here came from a real payment or a real follow, never an estimate.

If a number surprises you, tap it to see what it is made of.

Your money

Every payment

A permanent record of every payment. Lines are never edited or deleted, only added.

If your balance is ever questioned, this is the proof. It adds up by design.

Tap any line to see the fan, the fee, and the date it cleared.

Money

Every payment fans made you, the fee taken, and the amount that is yours. Nothing is rounded or hidden.

You are the seller of record. This is the page you would show an accountant.

Connect your payment account, then open any payment to see its complete record.

Pro

Everything on the free plan stays free. Pro adds unlimited live sessions, unlimited membership tiers, monthly credits, and the part of MV.AI that predicts rather than suggests.

A suggestion is free. A prediction costs us money to compute, so it sits behind the plan.

Stay free until the free limits get in your way. Then upgrade.

Publish item

Makes the item visible on your page and open for payment straight away.

Nothing is charged to anyone until a fan chooses to buy. You can unpublish at any time.

Check the price and what the fan gets, then publish.

What to charge

A price range built from real earnings, with the fee shown in full so you know what reaches you.

Most artists undercharge because nobody ever showed them the numbers. Now you have seen them.

Pick a price you can defend, then set it on your membership.

What you sell

Your monthly memberships and anything you sell once, like a release or a ticket.

Fans cannot pay you until there is something to pay for. This is where that something is made.

Add one membership at a price you would be happy to receive every month.

Your items

Each item has a name, a price, and what the fan gets. Everything here is digital.

Clear items sell. If a fan has to guess what they get, they do not buy.

Write what the fan gets in one plain sentence.

Your support

A record, not a balance. You pay for a gift the moment you send it and it goes straight to the artist.

Nothing of yours sits with us waiting to be spent, and there is nothing to top up before a show starts.

Open an artist and send when a moment deserves it. The receipt appears here and stays shareable.

Your people

Confirm spend

Takes the stated number of credits from your balance and buys the extra reach.

If the message is not already working, we hold part of the spend back and refund it rather than burn it.

Read the cost, then confirm.

Credits

Credits are bought in packs and spent on extra reach. The price of every action is shown before you confirm.

You always know the cost up front, and unspent credits stay yours.

Check the cost before you confirm a boost.

Fans

Your fans in three groups: people who followed, people who gave you a way to reach them, and people paying you every month.

Growth on its own does not pay rent. This shows you which fans are one step away from becoming members.

Look at the middle group. Those are the people to write to next.

How close they are

Three groups: a follow, a way to contact them, and a monthly payment. Each one is a step closer.

The middle group is where your next income comes from. It is the only group worth working on today.

Write to the middle group. Ask nothing, just tell them something true.

Members

One row per paying member: what they pay, how long they have stayed, and what they opened last.

A handful of members who stay is steadier income than a spike of streams.

Write to the people who opened your last update. They are the ones listening.

Phone numbers

A list of phone numbers fans gave you on purpose, with their permission recorded next to each one.

A text always gets read. That only stays true if you never send one to someone who did not ask.

Send one short text about your next live session.

Reach more fans

Credits buy extra reach for a message or a live session. You buy them up front and spend them when you choose.

Paid reach is only worth it when the message is already working. We hold the spend back when it is not.

Send one message for free first. Boost it only if people opened it.

Send

Delivers your message on the channels you chose, then shows you who received it.

A message cannot be recalled once it is out, so it is worth reading once more first.

Read it aloud once, then send.

Send text

Sends one short message by SMS to the numbers with permission recorded.

Texts are the most personal thing you can send, so they are also the easiest to overuse.

Keep it under two lines, and send at most one a month.

What your numbers say

Four bands: your page, your platforms, your lives and your money. Tap any number to see where it came from and when it was measured.

A number you cannot trace is worse than no number. Anything we have not measured says so instead of showing a zero.

Pick a window, then tap the figure that surprises you.

Who received it

For every message, who it reached and who it did not.

If a message did not land, that is a delivery problem to fix, not a sign your fans stopped caring.

Check the failures. Usually it is one old email address.

Write to your members

Write once and send it to your members by email, in the app, or as a WhatsApp message you send personally.

This is the audience nobody can take away from you. No algorithm sits between your words and their phone.

Write two sentences about what you are working on and send it.

Going live

Go live

Starts your session immediately, using your phone camera unless you set up something else.

The fans who follow you get told the moment it starts. Waiting for a perfect setup costs you the room.

Name it, tap go live, and say hello.

Guests

Send a link to another artist and they can join you on the session.

Playing with someone else puts you in front of their fans, not just yours.

Invite one artist you already know.

Keeping the room safe

Controls to slow the chat, mute one person for a while, or remove them for good.

You should never have to end a session because of one person.

Nothing to do now. It is here if you need it.

Live

Live is you and your fans in one room, right now. You can sing, talk, test a new song, or just say hello.

It is the fastest way to find out who actually shows up for you, and the fastest way to earn from them in one evening.

Name the session and go live. Two taps, nothing to install.

The room

Everyone watching, what they are saying, and every tip as it lands.

Thanking someone by name in the moment is the single strongest thing you can do for a fan.

Say the name of the next person who tips you, out loud.

Getting set up

Connection state

Connected means your numbers arrive on their own. Needs attention means the platform asked us to sign in again.

A quiet dashboard is nearly always a disconnected channel, not a bad week.

Reconnect anything marked as needing attention.

Delete account

Starts the removal of your account, your page, and the data we hold about you.

Leaving should be as easy as joining. Money records we are legally required to keep are the only exception.

Confirm your payment account has settled, then confirm the deletion.

Keeping your account safe

The Sign in and Two step verification sections of Settings. Change your password (your current one is asked first), change your email, add an authenticator app or a passkey, and end every session on every device with one tap.

Your earnings land behind this sign in. One extra lock keeps them yours even if a password ever leaks.

Open Settings, turn on two step verification, and link a passkey on the phone you use most.

Settings

Everything about your account rather than your music. Your name, your sign in, two step verification, passkeys, what we may send you, and your data.

You should be able to protect your earnings and see what we hold without asking anyone.

Turn on two step verification once. It is the strongest ten minutes you can spend here.

What we may send and show

Sensible defaults are already on so everything works: artists can reach you, your name can appear in a live room, and we measure only what keeps the platform running. In Settings you can switch each of these off, one by one.

These choices are yours, not ours. Every change saves the moment you make it and is honoured by every message we send.

Open Settings and read the Privacy section once. Nothing to do unless you want to change something.

Your channels

Link Spotify, YouTube, TikTok or Instagram once. We then read your public follower and listener counts for you.

Without a channel your dashboard has nothing to work with. With one, it starts telling you what is changing and why.

Connect the one platform where most of your listeners are.

Your data and leaving

One button downloads your profile, preferences and activity as a file, after a quick confirm it is you. Another starts account deletion with a thirty day window to change your mind.

You should never have to ask anyone for your own information, or for permission to leave.

Nothing to do now. It is there the day you need it.

Your snapshot

Five plain findings: who is listening, where the money is missing, your strongest signal, what is wasting your time, and one first move.

It gives you a starting line. Everything later is measured against it.

Answer the few questions, then read your snapshot once, slowly.

Your catalogue

Publish page

Saves the order and the sections you chose, and shows them to the public immediately.

Your page is the address you hand out, so changes go live at once rather than waiting for review.

Preview it once on your phone, then publish.

Show on your page

Shows or hides one release on your public page. It changes nothing on Spotify or YouTube.

A shorter page with your best work reads better than a complete list.

Show three releases at most to begin with.

Your page

Your public page: music, memberships, live sessions and links, in whatever order you want.

It is the only address you own. Everything you post anywhere else should point here.

Move the section that earns you money to the top.

Your releases

The releases we found on your connected platforms, plus anything you add by hand.

Your page is your shop window. A release that is hidden cannot be heard or bought.

Show the release you are proudest of, and hide the rest for now.

For fans

Discover

Three simple rails: live now, rising artists, and new releases.

Nothing here is an advert. Artists appear because something is genuinely happening.

Open a live session and say hello in the room.

Your home

Your side of MusicVerse: the artists you follow, their new music and live sessions, your tickets and memberships.

Support goes straight to the artist. You can always see what you are paying for.

Follow one more artist you already listen to.

Your night

Events

Your upcoming sessions and shows, each with the people who said yes.

Knowing who is coming before the night decides how you run it.

Open the next one and write to the guest list a day before.
